This Year's Carnival a Huge Success

A huge thankyou goes out to the parent volunteers and especially to Donna Powers for the hard work and organization that went into this year's Carnival. It was held on Saturday, June 8th and the event raised about $3000. These funds will go toward a new playground at the back of the school as well as some gardening in the front. Thanks also to the many families who turned out to enjoy the event. We look forward to it again next year!

Think Outside the Box - A new Fundraiser

The Holy Spirit Fundraising Committee is bringing a new fundraiser to the school. Not your typical fundraising campaign, fundscrip allows you to purchase gift certificates to stores where you already spend money! You can purchase gift cards, recieve the full amount and Holy Spirit School gets a percentage of the amount you spend. All you need to do is logon to www.fundscrip.com/retailers. There, you'll find a complete list of retailers. You can simply sign up and pay by Electronic Funds Transfer. If you prefer, download this form and hand it in to the office. You should recieve your order in about a week.

This year's Holy Spirit School Magazines fundraiser has come to an end. Funds raised will go toward paying off the school playground and landscaping the front entrance. You can still help support our school by purchasing new magazine subscriptions or renewing old ones online at www.QSP.ca.
You can also send emails to your friends, colleagues and family members across Canada,
inviting them to shop on-line and support our school.
